These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of AfroLamps products via our website [https://afrolamps.co.za] (the “Website”). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

“Seller”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to AfroLamps, the owner of this website and its associated products.
“Buyer”, “customer”, or “you” refers to any individual or entity purchasing products via the Website.
“Products” refers to any lamps, lamp shades, accessories, or customized goods offered by AfroLamps.

2. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product at any time without prior notice.

Handmade items may vary slightly in color, pattern, and shape.
Shade designs are subject to the availability of fabrics and trims.
We may limit the quantities of any products offered.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
Prices do not include delivery charges unless specified.
Payment is due in full at the time of purchase. We accept major credit/debit cards, EFT, and other listed payment methods.
We reserve the right to correct any errors in pricing or product details.

4. Orders & Acceptance

Orders are confirmed only after successful payment and receipt of an order confirmation email.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our sole discretion, including for reasons such as:
- Suspected fraud
- Delivery address risk
- Pricing or description errors

5. Custom Orders

Custom orders (e.g. personalized fabric, specific lamp holders, custom heights) are subject to additional processing time.
No returns or refunds will be issued for custom orders unless the item is defective or damaged in transit (see Return Policy).
Final approval of design/fabric is required before production begins.

We aim to dispatch standard items within 3–5 business days.
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
Title and risk pass to the buyer upon delivery.

7. Returns & Refunds

8. Product Care & Disclaimer

AfroLamps products are intended for indoor use only.
Due to the natural materials used (wood, fabric), care instructions must be followed to ensure longevity.
Always consult your product manual or care card.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including designs, logos, images, text, and graphics, is the property of AfroLamps or its partners.
No reproduction, copying, or use is permitted without express written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

AfroLamps is not liable for:

Indirect or consequential damages
Improper use of our products
Unauthorized electrical modifications

Maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
